Somewhere in the past a river ran. The man stepped over the rapids but his wife could not, nor could his children.
Somewhere in the past a river ran. The man stooped over the rapids and found a stone to build a bridge. His wife could not, nor could his children. But they found fish in the river and made a comfortable camp, cooked the food and sang to their father after a hard day working.
Somewhere in the past, a river ran, a man stood on a bridge where his wife could walk, so too could his children, who loved their father and sang to him songs when he was old and grey about the time when the river ran.
